About the Northern Wing Chun Kung Fu Association

The N.W.C.K.F.A. was set up in 1991 on the request of Grandmaster Yip Chun for his senior student Sifu Colin Ward to teach and promote original and pure Wing Chun Kung Fu in the United Kingdom.

Since then the association has flourished with several schools opening around Yorkshire.

With several Instructors, a proven workable beginners course, regular grading tests and an outstanding track record, the N.W.C.K.F.A. is the ONLY Hong Kong recognised authentic Wing Chun school in Yorkshire.

The standard ofthe students and Instructors is regularly checked by Grandmaster Yip Chun himself, who comes to the UK every year to give seminars, share his knowledge and give his blessing to this prestigious association.

As well as training the art itself we are proud of our regular outside interests such as teaching street psychology, outdoor training weekends, bodyguard seminars, gradings, visits from the Grandmaster himself and our strong unification.

Many people make claim to be connected with the Northem Wing Chun Kung Fu Association and although 'Imitation is the best form of flattery' - they are not!

Time is the most valuable thing we have and it should not be wasted.
