Sifu Colin Ward

Sifu Colin Ward is the Chief lnstructor ofthe N.W.C.K.F.A. and a true Hong Kong qualified Master ofthe art. He is also one ofonly 13 people in the world qualified to represent the teachings of Grandmaster Yip Chun in Hong Kong.

Since 1979 Sifu Ward has studied many different styles through his development but settled very early on Wing Chun.

In 1987 Colin was already a Wing Chun instructor when Master Yip Chun took an interest in his skill and progress and a friendship began to grow.

Eventually in 1990 he was invited to study Wing Chun in Hong Kong under Yip Chuns direct guidance and after buying a one way ticket he started again from scratch making sure that every part of every technique was fully understood.

Since 1990 Sifu Colin Ward has been a regular visitor to Hong Kong where he gives seminars and lectures at the Hong Kong University as well as still doing his own studies with his teacher, Yip Chun, who is the eldest son of the late and legendary Grandmaster Yip Man
(Bruce Lee's teacher and said to be the founder of modern day Wing Chun)

It has always been the intention of Sifu Colin Ward as well as the school itself to produce Martial Artists , rather than just fighters.

As tradition dictates, after learning his Father's skills Yip Chun has decided to pass them down to his select students and now through his student Sifu Colin Ward on to you.
